Get God’s Word To Kick Start 2018
Dear Brothers,
I prayed for a word to start 2018, and 3 separate times this verse was shared by 3 different believers. As I prayed over it, God spoke over this verse and I realized it exactly describes the year my wife and I had in 2017, and the reassurances going forward this year. I love His promise about our enemies that they are NEVER to rise again.
Brothers – what are our enemies that God has extinguished? Alcohol, sex, drugs, porn, gambling, violence, divorce, depression. Can we be tempted to return to the battlefield and resuscitate our enemies? Yes, temptation is always possible, but let’s always encourage each other to let them lie snuffed out like a wick.
Please read this short verse and allow it to speak power over your life. God shares a past, an action, a command, and a promise in Isaiah. I’m praying over this verse this week and always lift up our Brick Breakers community. I pray you’ll allow this promise to encourage you.

This is what the Lord says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:16-19
