Hi, I’m Dr. Scott Silverii.

I do my best to love people the way God loves me.

Who I Was

I’m a retired Chief of Police with a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, who now ministers to men struggling with trauma from past personal pain, abuse and addictions. That’s a crazy combination of life experience! Did I mention I worked 12 years undercover and 16 years as a SWAT Commander? Yeah, I’ve lived through a lot!

A former college professor and author of over 45 titles, my wife and I launched Five Stones Press, a faith-based publishing house, to serve aspiring authors share their message. I also serve as the founding pastor and digital evangelist of Five Stones Church.Online with over 230,000 members.

What I Do

I love to talk about Jesus, and am happy to chat about anything from policing, marriage and blended families to riding my Harley Davidson cross country.

What I Love

Having grown up along the bayous of South Louisiana, I’m a natural storyteller, and I love public speaking. In addition to recovering from severe PTSD, I’ve shared my testimony of childhood abuse, family dysfunction and personal recovery with thousands of people across the country during church sermons, workshops and conferences.

My wife, Leah and I are based in Dallas, Texas, USA, with our five kids and two dogs. Leah, who is the shining star of our family is an incredible wife, mom and mentor who has hit the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal a combined 38 times with over 70 books to her credit. I told you she’s pretty amazing.
