Flat Footed and Refusing to Fall

Flat Footed and Refusing to Fall

This week we headed to the beach for our summer vacation. The kids love the sand and water, so it’s a break from 100+ degree Dallas weather. Not really, but they love the water.

It was a 12 hour drive, and to confess that I had zero enthusiasm to do it, was an understatement. But we do what we do for our families, right?

I spent the drive time listening to sermons and Christian music. Although my wife suspected it was a plot for ignoring her, I really needed the head time to refocus and recharge.

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 3:14

Like most brothers, I’ve been under attack of late. In typical demonic fashion, the devil whispers destructive suggestions that if allowed to take root, will bloom into failure.

To be honest, I felt flat-footed and unmotivated for the battle, but I knew the consequences of allowing the slightest bit of space to the devil’s attempts.

So I’m doing what God calls us to do. By enmeshing my mind in His word, I’m changing my “stinking thinking,” and cleansing my spirit with the Word.

Our atmosphere changes with our attitude,

Much Love/Respect,

MEN ONLY
