Garbage In Garbage Out
Oftentimes we actually get what our minds are focused on. Familiar with GIGO? Unless you adopt an attitude of gratitude, you’re likely meandering in a perpetual state of victimhood. You have the authority to change your life by the very One who created that life. Claim that authority and live your life as the child of the one true King.
See Clearly
Everyone thought at the stroke of midnight on 12-31-2019 that their lives were going to be miraculously changed for the glorious. All of the slogans about seeing clearly 20/20 best life, etc created a false optimism that a man-made calendar could restore the old you. The reality is, 2020 has been a banner year for clarity.
Guess what? God has given you the best opportunity to see this world for what it really is. You’ll never get a clearer picture of humanity than this year. Now the truth is, it’s not what you expected or wanted, but that doesn’t make it less of a fact.
The truth is, you are living in the raw and losing much of what once concealed your life is forcing you to face the truth of what life actually is. This earth was not designed to last forever and it is going to all come to an end some day soon. I don’t mean an end to politics or social media censoring. This entire thing called life on earth will cease to exist.
Temporary Residence
The good news is that the end of this existence is actually the beginning of what God created us for – to live in eternity with Him. The bad news is that everyone will live forever, just not in the same place. But, it’s not too late to choose glory and light.
If 2020 has been a blessing, then keep on keeping on and amen! But, if you’re continuing to struggle year after year, then you might want to try something different – Like Jesus Christ. I mean real deal Jesus Christ and not just whispering His name before meals.
There is so much that I do not know, but one thing I am sure of; When the clock ticks one second past midnight on December 31, 2020, your troubles will still be there on January 01, 2021. Make the best decision of your life today – choose Jesus!
